Green Consulting

Hello! I am a Green Consultant for film and television and live in Cologne, Germany. After studying at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in NYC, I returned to Germany to work in the film industry.  I have worked both as a set manager on fictional projects and as 1st AD on various films and commercials. Since 2021, I have been advising production companies on sustainable production methods. I received my IHK certificate as an IHK certified Green Consultant on March 1st, 2021. Back in 2001, during my first film project, I recognized the enormous waste of food and resources on set. In 2021, I was lucky enough to work on the Tatort Dortmund project "Greed and Fear" with the unafilm production company. This production was nominated for the Sustainability Award 2021/2022 and won the first Kingfisher Award for the most sustainable production. On Monday, June 20, 2022  I received the award from our Environment Minister Steffi Lemke. It made me very proud to win the first sustainability award in such an important industry - a really important award in times like these. On February 16, 2020, the second stroke of genius followed with "The School of Magical Animals 3" by Kordes and Kordes Film. I  received the Kingfisher for the most sustainable film production in 2023/2024 in the main category. Our little bird family has thus continued to grow. When I'm not on set or working on my software Green Toolkit   with new innovations that are driving the film and television industry forward in green producing - I am ​As an Airbnb Super Host, I offer a sustainable overnight accommodation concept - a green oasis in the heart of the city and  My company micro-camp rents out roof tents for sustainable travel in Cologne. ​ ​
